My fascination with sex toys began a long time ago. I began to make them myself a few years ago when my hobby became financially unsustainable. Since then I've been creating and finessing my designs through trial and error, and long conversations with people of all genders and body-types. This process has taught me to question sex consumerism and products that claim to fix our sex lives. I strive to make products based on the unique desires and delights of individuals, and to fight the idea that good sex only "happens to" people with bodies of a certain shape, gender presentation, race, or ability. Bender Gear exists in order to smash the gender binary and to promote healthy exploration of sexuality through communication, education, consent, and a sense of play. (They're called sex toys for a reason.) Above all I hope that it will inspire people to make their own sex toys and take control of their own sex lives.
