I've been talking to two friendly folks in jail through this awesome initiative for just over a year now. Really like these folks and the work they do. If you happen to be in Montreal on October 17th, check them out:

Le Projet Correspondance pour Prisonnières et Prisonniers cherche des personnes intéressées à s'impliquer dans son collectif ou en tant que correspondant.e.s
- la coordination et mise à jour de notre bibliothèque
- correspondre avec des personnes LGBTQ incarcérées
- la traduction et mise à jour du site WEB
- l'organisation d'ateliers, de présentations et de tables d'info du PCP, etc

If you want to learn more about the Prison Industrial Complex

But above all, you want to act collectively against the criminalisation of LGBTQ communities through prison abolition!!!

The Prison Correspondent Project is looking for people interested in getting involved in its collective or as penpal:
- Coordinating and updating our Resource Library
- Corresponding with imprisoned LGBTQ folks
- Updating and translating the WEBsite
- Desinging workshops and tabling for the Prisoner Correspondence Project

We are inviting you to an introductory meeting!
