Public Cervix Announcement - An Introduction to DIY Sexual Health

Do you have a cervix? Have you ever just wondered what one looks like? This workshop is an introduction to the fascinating world of internal genitalia. It will address the function and mystery of the cervix, as well as its medical significance. We'll discuss self-care and brainstorm strategies for improving our experiences with sexual health care providers. This workshop is open to all, but participants should be aware that there is frank discussion of sexuality and sexual anatomy, as well as a demonstration of cervical self-exam (complete with a real, live cervix!). Following the workshop, participants who are interested may remain to learn the practice of cervical self-exam. Speculums will be provided.
